2012 has been a very busy year for the choir.
We have raised over £1,300 pounds for various charities this year including Sue Ryder, Air Ambulance and LINC.
Fund raising has included a regular raffle and serving teas at the Touching Souls Tearooms at Tewkesbury Abbey.
We were also very privileged to receive a £300 donation in memory of Mrs Olive Bennet, a much respected founding member of the choir, who sadly passed away last year.
These funds enabled us to purchase a much needed portable electric piano.
A new venture for the choir was a carol singing event at Gloucester Hospital. This was a great success and raised over £100 for LINC. We have been invited to sing in the lobby again and not just at Christmas time!
