I must write and thank you and all your choir members for such an enjoyable afternoon’s entertainment on Thursday. The singing was superb, and with the added jokes and ‘community singing’ it was just superb!!! If you think your members will be able to do the journey to us again, we’d be so pleased, everyone was ‘singing’ your praises after you left. If so please let me know and I’ll get in touch next year, if not, we are grateful to have had such a lovely afternoon with you. June 2016
We would like to thank the Wide Valley Singers for all of their wonderful performances throughout 2015. Visitors to Gloucester Royal Hospital have been treated to performances of choral excellence from the lovely ladies, ably led by the superb Tim Evans. They have entertained shoppers in the Regent Arcade and for the first time, the choir entertained the guests at the Christmas Sparkle event at the Hotel du Vin and looked majestic singing on the spiral staircase.
The grand total of £1000 was raised in 2015 and we are so grateful for their support. Tim Evans said, “We were established in 1986 when a group of ladies went carol singing in Witcombe and are now a choir of around 40 ladies. We sing at concerts, care homes, seniors groups and weddings. We raise money whenever we can and in 2015 were able to raise over £2500.00 for various charities. We sing a range of songs from Bach to the Beatles, and aim to enjoy our music wherever we are and especially when singing for LINC!”

I am writing to thank you for your support again during 2015. Your performances this year raised the fantastic total of £963.32.
You have put many a smile on the faces of patients visitors and staff in the hospital. Guests at LINC's Christmas Sparkle event at the Hotel du Vin very much enjoyed the festive atmosphere you created and once again the feedback from the Regent Arcade was very complimentary.
It is a pleasure working with each and every one of you and i look forward to seeing you again in 2016
